We were here on Valentines Day & they were very busy with limited staff. The place is amazing inside, if in this area go there just for the experience inside, gorgeous bar & unusual tableware. I had the salmon & it was good. If in the area I would try it again. They also had a man playing the guitar & singing & it was at a very good noise level, not loud.

Great food and atmosphere! Not only did I enjoy this restaurant, but also my husband. While looking for a place to grab lunch, I noticed that we were near the Lazy Ballerina. My husband was not enthusiastic about going - he was put off by the name. He was very impressed with all the items that we ordered, including dessert. Like the old saying goes, "Don't judge a restaurant by its name".

I have driven by many times telling myself I have to try this place; Well I finally did and was very pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean and bright and the decor is very cute. I went in for lunch with a friend and we both loved over meals. I had the ultimate grilled cheese with the Blue Tomato Soup which was delicious! The menu has something for any palette! I will definitely be going back to try their dinner options - Shrimp and Grits caught my eye. Don't put off trying the Lazy Ballerina, you won't be disappointed. Kristen our waitress was also fabulous!

Such a gem. As a person who loves comfort food, this restaurant was such a pleasant surprise to stumble upon. We got the fried green tomatoes (came with 4 large tomatoes) to start and we weren't disappointed. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, and don't get me started on the biscuit... to put it simply-- it was all divine. I had enough to take home for leftovers. Our server was sweet and so was the owner. They had soft live music (guitarist) on a Saturday night which was a really nice touch. I can't wait to return!

Food was very good-I had the chicken pot pie & mashed, husband had the braised short ribs & the granddaughter did the ballerina burger with fries which were all very flavorful & delicious! Lisa was our waitress who was very friendly-did a great job & took good care of us! It is a unique setting as i believe it was a business previously, and it originally was a home? Anyway I loved the colors, the place settings, silverware, my wine glass had an interesting shape-everything was enjoyable! Forgot we did the pimento fritters too as a starter which was yummy! We will be repeat customers, that is for sure!

This was our second visit, and I just can't speak highly enough of the food and the service. This trip was for dinner, although they have lunch hours as well. We had the Mahi-Mahi special and the Chicken Pot Pie, which were both excellent. Of course, we started with the Tomato Blue soup. Not to be missed. The ambiance is just as you would expect, a charming bistro environment. All the lighting, plated and silverware have some sort of quaintness or whimsey attached. We can't wait for the next visit.

The restaurant is so eccentric and lovely. The service is friendly and prompt. Nice variety of wine. The key lime pie is excellent. Lovely experience here.

Service was slow, but they were great with the details of their daily special, which we tried the fried green tomatoes. There was a blue tomato soup with the grilled cheese and as a fan of grilled cheeses that twist on the classic was definitely a new one I recommend getting the soup with the grilled cheese tho it's extra. They have only beers and wines, no soft drinks or teas. The setting of the place was cottage like and had party rooms with large tables to set groups. With a bar that had cozy seating. I recommend if you want something new come to it and try, they have reservations so you can make time. Parking can be crowded the max cars looks like a single parking nothing larger than a suv civic. We love to dive at new locations and this one is a new gem.
